Swaps and routingPreview
Sotto is an aggregator. He checks every venue that can fill your trade and shows the two to five that are open, best first.
Route types
| Route | How it works | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Split route | Splits the order across two pools so neither moves much | Larger trades |
| Intent solver | Solvers compete to fill your order and cover the network fee | Everyday trades |
| Sotto Shield | Sends the trade through a private relay | When you do not want to be seen |
| Direct pool | One pool, one hop | Speed |
| Market maker | A maker locks a firm price for 30 seconds | Stock tokens and large orders |
Why two routes one time and five the next
Not every venue takes every trade. In the preview, split routes need at least $1,000, solvers need at least $100, and market makers quote stock tokens or orders of $5,000 and up. Sotto only shows routes that can actually fill.
Reading a route card
Each card shows the rank, what you receive, price impact, network fee and roughly how long it takes to settle. Tags call out what stands out:
- Best price: the most you can receive.
- Fastest: settles soonest, when it is not already the best.
- Gasless: the network fee is covered.
- Private: hidden until it lands.
- Fixed price: a firm quote from a market maker.
Slippage
Every quote shows the minimum you will receive at 0.5% slippage. If the price moves further than that, the trade does not go through.
Quotes in the preview use fixed demo prices, not live markets.
